Featuring North American Railway Journeys since 1985

It has been a pleasure to introduce our guests to the delights of railway travel. We have operated wonderful tours throughout North America utilizing passenger trains as the primary mode of travel. We're proud to note that the majority of our guests are repeat-customers who have returned to enjoy additional experiences. Amtrak has presented us their prestigious "Golden Spike Society" award on several occasions.

There is no better way to appreciate America than from a comfortable space aboard a fine train. Think of it as a rolling hotel offering all your creature comforts along with ever-changing picture window views. There may be faster ways to arrive at your destination, but you'll never appreciate this great land until you've taken the time to see it up-close.

Tour itineraries are planned to afford our guests comprehensive sightseeing opportunities while not sacrificing comfort.  Guests should never feel hurried as ample personal time is available and one-night hotel stands are generally avoided. We utilize only carefully selected lodging and restaurant partners.  Over the years we have offered a vast array of railway based tours to popular vacation destinations featuring the passenger trains of many mainline railroads including Amtrak, ViaRail Canada, Ontario Northland, Algoma Central, BC Rail, Alaska Railroad, Long Island and Metro-North.  Some of our most popular extended tours have included: Canadian Rockies, California and the American West, Colorado Rail Ramble, Southern Sojourn, New Orleans and the Deep South, Polar Bear Express.

Our top-of-the-line Deluxe Railway Journeys feature luxury travel aboard restored vintage railcars---the ultimate in first-class land travel. Vintage Pullman parlor, observation and sleeping cars are utilized. Guests enjoy freshly prepared gourmet meals served restaurant style in our own private Santa Fe Railroad dining car "Epicurus". Past Deluxe Journeys have included: West Virginia's New River Gorge; the fabulous D&H Adirondack route to Montreal;  Canadian Wilderness Excursions deep into the Saguenay and Abitibi regions of Ontario and Quebec; Hudson River line to Albany; Northeast Corridor to Washington, DC; Central Vermont Railway; and the Water Level Route to Niagara Falls.
